Comments

In cactusinhabitat.org 2013, the A&M 10, A&M 149, and A&M 197 now identified with P. nivosa, were attributed to Parodia penicillata Fechser & Steeg. In our recent synopsis of the genus Parodia Spegazzini s.l. (Anceschi & Magli 2018: 36, 70-161), the latter taxon is considered a synonym of the first (ibidem, 125-127).
